Stories through Collage - Anthony Grant

February 22nd Sunday 11:00 - 1:00

more about this class

Delivering Memories: Collage as Storytelling In this hands-on workshop, Anthony Grant guides participants through his collage process, using memory as the primary material. Together, we’ll explore how personal stories, big or small, can be translated into visual form through image, text, and texture. We’ll begin with brief introductions and an intention-setting exercise, then move into making: gathering materials, thinking with our hands, and allowing the collage to unfold intuitively. Participants are encouraged to bring photographs, written or printed words, and meaningful paper or objects connected to a memory. Additional materials will also be available for those who prefer to work spontaneously. You’ll create your collage on a small wood panel provided by the artist, with time to mingle, exchange ideas, and work in a relaxed, social studio environment. We’ll close with an optional share, offering space to reflect on the process and what emerged. No prior collage experience is necessary - just curiosity and an open mindset. Materials provided: wood panels, shared collage materials, and studio ambiance.

110 US dollars
