What is Mighty Mighty studio?
Our studio is a haven for anyone seeking to explore and expand their artistic expression while fostering a sense of community. Inspired by a desire for collective experiences and personal soulful growth, we offer a welcoming space for artists of all levels. Whether you're a seasoned creator or just beginning your journey, our diverse classes and workshops have something to inspire everyone.
Where are you located?
We are located in the heart of Oakland at 480 23rd street between Telegraph and
Broadway. Ample street parking and pay to park options nearby.
What type of classes and workshops do you have?
Our diverse selection of classes have something for everyone and all levels of experience, from textile dying, block printing, watercolor, illustration, bookmaking and more.
Will I find a diverse and community-centered experience at Mighty Mighty studio?
Inclusion and belonging are at the heart of our practice. At our art studio, we place diversity and BI&PoC inclusion at the center of everything we do. Our space is Queer-friendly and dedicated to fostering creativity and expression from artists of all backgrounds.
How do I register?

What if I dont see any classes that I like?
We love to hear about classes and workshops you would like to see listed. Just drop us a quick email.

What should I bring to class?
Materials will be provided by the instructor. Please bring anything that will make you comfortable during your workshop, own art supplies, water bottle, small seat cushion, etc.
Do I bring my own food?
At Mighty Mighty Studio, community is at the heart of everything we do. To foster connection and the sharing of ideas, we offer a welcoming space for everyone to eat together. Depending on the length of the class, we’ll provide snacks or a light lunch.
What is your cancelation policy?
If you cancel your class registration 4 days before the first day of class, you will receive a credit towards your next class. Classes canceled less than 4 days in advance will be charged for full cost of the class. There are no refunds, so choose carefully.
Do you have workshops for group or team building?
We offer engaging team-building events and workshops designed to enhance collaboration and unity within your team. Our activities foster improved teamwork while providing a memorable shared experience. We can tailor an event to ensure your team leaves feeling connected and energized. Do you rent your space out for other gatherings or events?
We do offer the space for rent. Please reach out via email for your request.
How do I apply to show work at the gallery?

What forms of payment do you take?
We take most credit cards and Venmo, Apple Pay and Paypal
Is there parking available?
There is street parking and two paid parking lots within 2 blocks of our location. Broadway Grand Garage and SP Parking.
Do you offer any discounts on workshops?
A percentage of each class is earmarked for creatives in need of financial support.

What are your health and safety measures?
Please stay home if you are sick. To keep our community safe, Mighty Mighty follows recommended COVID-19 guidelines.
Do you have a shop where I can buy art supplies and other unique gifts?
Of course we do! We have a wonderful little shop specially curated with hand made water colors, textiles, books and more.
