Digital Illustrations, projections and woven blankets

 

ROOMS is an ongoing series of work inspired by vibrant dreams and interior landscapes. Much of my work involves the process of decoding dreams, lucid dreaming, dream re-entry and trance meditation. Much of my dreams involve large buildings filled with never ending rooms and long corridors. Each space holds different energies, colors, sounds and experiences.

My name is Corinne, or you can refer to me by my moniker, Critty Smitty. I’m a Black, Queer multimedia artist based out of Oakland, California. The general themes of my work revolve around the cultivation and expression of joy while navigating sadness, grief and loss.
