Wishbone Weaving Save that wishbone from your Thanksgiving turkey!* For the very first time, Kaci will be teaching her technique for turning a simple wishbone into a tiny, intricate tapestry. No prior weaving experience is necessary. We’ll start from scratch, but students who have already taken Kaci’s Branch Weaving class will have some helpful background. She will guide you through the basic steps of setting up your warp, beginning your weave, transitioning from one color to another, and finishing your piece. Please clean your wishbone before class (boiling is recommended to remove any remaining turkey bits). Kaci will also have extra wishbones available for purchase — add $5 to the $15 materials fee if you need one or would like an extra. BYOB (Bring your own branch). BIO: BFA in Textile Design from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, and has worked professionally as a hand-weaver of rugs and upholstery fabrics. Cancellation Policy
When scheduling classes, please note that workshops will be automatically canceled if enrollment is four participants or fewer. If this occurs, your credit will be applied to the next available workshop of the same name. If no future session is scheduled, a full refund will be issued. Also, you can cancel your class up to 7 days prior to the scheduled date. In the event of a cancellation, you will receive a credit toward your next booking. Please be aware that we do not offer refunds.
