Needle Felting 101: Wearable Felt// Visible Mending Discover the art of needle felting as a method of creative repair and embellishment. Whether you wish to breathe new life into a well-loved garment or subtly mend imperfections with artistic flair, this workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of felting onto fabric. You will learn how to apply needle-felted designs directly onto clothing, creating either a bespoke patch for sewing or working directly on a sweater of your choice. By the end of the session, you’ll not only master this versatile technique but also leave with a curated felting kit to continue exploring at home. Beginner-friendly | All materials provided (except your garment) For optimal results, bring a garment made of cashmere, wool, or a fine-knit fabric. Heavier knits, silk, or crocheted pieces are not recommended. If you’d like guidance on fabric selection, feel free to email me at Hello@RisaCulbertson.com prior to class. Bringing multiple options is encouraged!
Cancellation Policy
When scheduling classes, please note that workshops will be automatically canceled if enrollment is four participants or fewer. If this occurs, your credit will be applied to the next available workshop of the same name. If no future session is scheduled, a full refund will be issued. Also, you can cancel your class up to 7 days prior to the scheduled date. In the event of a cancellation, you will receive a credit toward your next booking. Please be aware that we do not offer refunds.
