Experience mixed media drawing with Oakland artist Anjelica Colliard. In this workshop, you'll explore spontaneous mark-making and the rich possibilities that emerge when different materials interact. Working with soft and oil pastels, gouache, watercolor, crayon, pencil, and more, you’ll create vibrant, layered, and imaginative imagery. This is an opportunity to see drawing in a new light, expand your creative process, and reconnect with the joy of making. All experience levels are welcome. BIO: Anjelica Colliard holds a B.F.A. from UC Berkeley and is based in Oakland. They specialize in large-scale mixed media drawings and paintings, murals and printmaking, and are inspired by a hope for a more peaceful and sustainable world. They have shown across the greater Bay Area and West Coast, including Hashimoto Contemporary in San Francisco. They were an Artist in Residence at Google in 2022, a featured artist for Target Pride in 2023 and a guest instructor at Berkeley Art Museum in 2025.

When scheduling classes, please note that workshops will be automatically canceled if enrollment is four participants or fewer. If this occurs, your credit will be applied to the next available workshop of the same name. If no future session is scheduled, a full refund will be issued. Also, you can cancel your class up to 7 days prior to the scheduled date. In the event of a cancellation, you will receive a credit toward your next booking. Please be aware that we do not offer refunds.
