Denim Upcycling Workshop with Erika Varize A Fundraiser for the Bayganda Foundation at Mighty Mighty Studio Join us for a joyful and hands-on afternoon of creativity at Mighty Mighty Studio as we host a very special denim upcycling workshop led by Erika Varize — director of the Bayganda Foundation, and founder of the beloved Sew What Camp. Erika will guide participants through the art of transforming well-loved denim into bold, wearable works of art. In addition to her expert instruction, the studio will feature three interactive stations to explore at your own pace: Reconstruction Station for cutting, reshaping, and reimagining your denim Mending Station to repair, reinforce, or embellish Patchwork Station for piecing together something completely new Please bring your own denim — jeans, a jacket, or any denim piece you'd like to rework. We’ll provide all additional materials and inspiration. This event is a fundraiser for the Bayganda Foundation, with all proceeds going directly to the organization. Since 2005, Bayganda has been a leader in Bay Area sewing camps, providing accessible summer programs and teaching the art of sewing. In 2007, the foundation expanded its mission to Bugolobi, Uganda, to empower young girls through creative and practical skills. Today, Bayganda continues to support girls in both the U.S. and Uganda — helping build a generation of empowered, enriched, and economically secure young women. All skill levels welcome. Space is limited. Light refreshments will be served.
Cancellation Policy
When scheduling classes, please note that workshops will be automatically canceled if enrollment is four participants or fewer. If this occurs, your credit will be applied to the next available workshop of the same name. If no future session is scheduled, a full refund will be issued. Also, you can cancel your class up to 7 days prior to the scheduled date. In the event of a cancellation, you will receive a credit toward your next booking. Please be aware that we do not offer refunds.
