This class teaches the engaging and beautiful craft of branch weaving. Kaci will lead us on a journey of how to turn an ordinary branch into a loom for tapestry weaving. During this two hour class, Kaci will go through the basic steps of setting up the warp, starting your weaving, how to transition from one color to another, as well as finishing techniques. Everything you need to know to complete the project on your own, and keep making more. Warning: you may become addicted to branch weaving! We will use natural branches as looms and using embroidery floss as the weft to completely obscure the linen warp. Let intuition be your guide as you create your own pattern or let your journey be spontaneous.
