Tunnel Books with e Bond
February 23rd Sunday 1:00 - 4:00
more about this class
a beginner/intermediate book class Tunnel books are amazing sculptural book forms that date as far back as the mid-18th century. Inspired by theatre stage sets, this form allows the maker to build three-dimensional scenes within the pages of these stunning books. In this workshop, we’ll create art for our pages and then assemble them into the tunnel book structure. Before the workshop think about the visual content or theme you want to explore in your tunnel book. Students are encouraged to bring: images, drawings, magazines, photographs, any materials etc.. that will help support your idea. A materials fee of $ 10 will cover the supplies used during the class. I will bring a lot of supplies for inspiration. (To pay the materials fee bring cash, or Venmo the instructor during the class.)
