December 14th Sunday 12:00 - 3:00

more about this class

Paper Florals Holiday Edition In this hands-on workshop you will craft beautiful handmade floral forms using repurposed shipping craft paper. These paper flowers are perfect for gift wrapping, holiday decorations, or as sweet little gifts on their own. Using provided templates as a guide, you'll learn techniques for folding, shaping, and assembling your own unique blooms. To finish them you can choose from a wide variation of paint in vibrant hues, add layered imagery through decoupage, or leave them raw to celebrate the texture and simplicity of the material. No experience needed — just bring your curiosity and holiday cheer! Materials Fee: 15.00 paid directly to artist the day of the workshop. BIO: Asaki Oda is a multimedia artist passionate about material manipulation, transforming reused items into beautiful, meaningful pieces. With a background in theater set design, Asaki works as a freelance visual artist, creating custom artwork and crafts for both private and commercial clients. She is also a prototype artist for Anthropologie, contributing to the development of seasonal windows and displays, with her paper strawberries featured on the brand’s 2025 spring shopping bags.
