more about this class

Making Good Messes with e Bond. Session Two This is a process-driven studio workshop that celebrates the pure joy of creating, free from expectations or finished outcomes. While you won’t leave with a polished product, the goal is to spark ideas, raise questions, and fill your creative well with inspiration to carry into your daily studio practice. In this second session, we’ll step into the role of inventors, crafting our own tools and brushes to expand our mark-making exploration. If it can leave a mark, we’re eager to try it! Students are encouraged to bring: Collect and bring at least 5-10 odd, unconventional items, natural or man-made. Leave no stone unturned, look in nature, your local thrift or hardware store, the junk drawer, or your bathroom cabinet. Make sure you don’t mind getting ink on whatever you bring. Also, bring any papers or materials to draw or experiment with.

A materials fee of $10 will cover the paint, ink, paper, and brush-making supplies used during the class. (To pay the materials fee, bring cash, or Venmo to class) BIO: e bond is an artist, bookbinder, writer, and designer currently living in Richmond, CA.
