Flag books with e Bond

March 2nd 1:00 - 4:00 Sunday

more about this class

a beginner/intermediate book class The flag book, invented by Hedi Kyle, is such an innovative book structure. Because of its sculptural form, it can be viewed from different angles making it such a crowd-pleaser. The pages of flag books can be used in many ways to tell stories with photography, prints, collage, writing, etc… In this workshop we’ll learn how to make two variations of the flag book using art we create or source from materials on hand. Students are encouraged to bring: paper, supplies, and any other materials you might want to use for content in your flag book. A materials fee of $10 will cover the supplies used during the class. (To pay the materials fee bring cash, or Venmo the instructor during the class.) BIO: e bond is an artist, bookbinder, writer, and designer currently living in Richmond, CA.
