Gender Expansive Figure Drawing: Bodies as Maps of Joy is a series of gender-expansive figure drawing workshops centering trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming QTBIPOC bodies. Each 3-hour session features live models, drawing instruction, and dialogue around representation, body autonomy, and radical visibility. Models share personal stories while participants engage in reflective drawing. The series culminates in a community zine and gallery walk. Rooted in collective witnessing and queer joy, this project reclaims figure drawing as a space of affirmation, community-building, and creative resistance outside traditional, cis-normative art spaces. All supplies will be included.  There will be 2 class meetings Tuesday June 16th and Wednesday June 17th Tuition is free

Cancellation Policy

When scheduling classes, please note that workshops will be automatically canceled if enrollment is four participants or fewer. If this occurs, your credit will be applied to the next available workshop of the same name. If no future session is scheduled, a full refund will be issued. Also, you can cancel your class up to 7 days prior to the scheduled date. In the event of a cancellation, you will receive a credit toward your next booking. Please be aware that we do not offer refunds.
